THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF HIBISCUS



     Hibiscus is a flowering plant known as hibiscus sabdariffa or Roselle. Hibiscus is a native to India and Malaysia. It also grows in a country like Nigeria,China,Sudan, Thailand and Mexico. The types of hibiscus includes trees,shrubs and herbs while the most common one is shrubs marked by red stems.
The parts of hibiscus includes flowers,seeds,leaves and stems are all used for medicinal preparation, culinary and cosmetic. It's believed that hibiscus has no standard dosage and no part of it is poisonous. Hibiscus is a healthy plant that improve human life in various ways as follows;
1. Decrease blood pressure.
2. Promote weight loss.
3. Reduce blood cholesterol/fat which is a risk factor of heart disease.
4. Improve liver healthy and keep it working efficiently.
5. Improve metabolic syndrome.
6. Fight against cancer cells.
7. Packed with antioxidants which prevent damage of cells.
8. Lower neuroinflammation.
9. Decreases bacterial growth.
10. Prevent hair loss.
11. Thicken hair and add volume.
12. Treat dandruff.
13. Reduces anxiety and stress.
  Side effects effects of hibiscus is uncommon but may include stomach upset and constipation.
Taking hibiscus with medication used for lowering blood pressure causes the blood pressure to be too law.
 In conclusion, unlike colanut and coffee, hibiscus is free of caffeine,the anxiolytic and sedative properties of hibiscus induces body to fall asleep as a result of stress and anxiety reduction.
