INEC'S PREPAREDNESS

 


INEC's preparedness for the 2023 polls held at the international conference centre (ICC), Abuja on 24th February, Hon. Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said:


Voting begins at 8:30am and end at 2:30pm. All voters should be in a queue before 2pm

Census: Benefactors dodge NPC, FG delivered N224bn

Federal Government and United Nations Population, On efforts to get funding for the 2023 population and housing census have not provide any positive result. In the early of March, Minister of state for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba, revealed that the Federal Government was arranging to give a basket fund to collect donations for the census. This made to support 2023 census. Agba informed that census needed the total amount of N869bn, the government committed N291.5bn with the need for an additional N327.2bn to complete the census. The Members of private sector urged by Minister to donate cash or to provide some of the materials needed for the census

Update on NPower stipends payment Hon. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs,Disaster Management and Social Development,Sadiya Umar Farouq urge to pressure to begins payment November, December, January February March and April STIPENDS, will be paid entirely before 31st May, 2023.
